"The Life of John Calvin"

Dr Cairns preached about " The life of John Calvin". I have learnt many things from those few messages but i just wanna share a few that i think is applicable to all of us members(;

Firstly, John Calvin excelled in no matter what he did, e.g He just decided to study Latin as a side but he turned into one of the best Latin scholars ever. So, no matter what we do, do it to the best of your abitittes and you never know, you may be a fully qualified doctor in no time, Jun Kai(:

Second, God called John Calvin and he did not say that he was too young to serve, even though all he wanted to do was just to be at the back seat writing articles to aid the Reformation. When the Lord calls us, no matter how young we are, do it for the Lord and he will bless you.

Thirdly, John Calvin was such a great speaker because he put the Bible first in all his messages. As a youth fellowship, may we remember to put the bible first in this group(:

Lastly, Dr Cairns said that the most important thing that helped the Reformation was the amount of prayer that the people prayed, we must never forget this area and strive to be God fearing youths that constantly pray(:
