1. Overview of chapter 3

(a) Most detailed specifications of the walls of Jerusalem found in Bible.
(b) Provides names of the people involved in the building the walls.
(c) Nehemiah’s purpose align to God’s Word – Read Psalm 122:3
(d) Division of work and labour.as expounded in 1 Cor 12:14-27
     
2. North Wall (3:1-5)

(a) Verse 1 – High Priest and priests were involved and built the gate and door.
(b) Verse 5b – Nobles refused to work. Why?
 
3. West Wall (3:6-12)

(a) Verse 8 – Who are the 2 groups of people involved?
(b) Verse 12 – Ruler and his daughters were also building
           
4. South Wall (3:13-14)

(a) Verse 14 – What gate was repaired?
 
5. East Wall (3:15-31)

(a) Compare 2:14 to 3:15 of the fountain gate
(b) Learn the attitude of service in v.20 – Earnest or Zealous
