Love others (enemies included) just like how God had loved us

Day One

Luke 6: 27 - 30

27But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
29And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.
30Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

"We should love our enemies - those who hate us. We should pray for their salvation and not to have a retaliatory attitude against those who had sinned against us."

A prayer for enemies

Dear God,

I knew XXX had afflicted harm, physical or emotional against me. I also hate XXX. I knew that thou had commanded me to love others, as thou had so loved me, a debtor and thy enemy. Hence, may thou show me the way and help me to love XXX as the way thou had loved me. Allow me to show mercy to XXX and I would also like to pray for his/her salvation also.

In Jesus Name I Pray, Amen.

Day 4

Proverbs 25: 21 -22
21If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:

22For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.

"We should show kindness to our enemies at the best extent we could. Kindness is the one which could truly harm (touch) the enemy and cause him to change. And the LORD our God will surely reward us for our kindness"
