Speaker: Uncle Isaac
Scriptural Passage: Daniel 6:1-11
When we want to learn to stand firm in Christ, it means we have the desire to stand firm not just on Sunday, but everyday, in Church, in our schools and in our workplaces. We can learn from Daniel's exemplary life.
Most importantly, it is the matter of our hearts. In Daniel 1:8a 'But Daniel purposed in his heart...' We must have the singleness of heart to follow Christ, without settling the problem with our hearts all the practical steps that follow will fail.
Check your heart today.
Uncle Isaac provided 4 practical steps in helping us to stand firm in Christ.
1) We must make our stand known. Be brave as a follower of Christ. Daniel makes it clear when he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat.
2) Know what to stand for and do it in a reasonable way
3) Evangelize! It makes us conscious of our conducts!
4) Practice taking the stand.
When we stand firm in Christ, and not compromise, we also would receive much blessings from God. Such as a clear conscience, trust and assurance in God and we will be able to glorify God.
God Bless,
