Message 5: Feet That Be Swift In Running To Mischief
“These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” Proverbs 6: 16-19
1. We have a wandering feet away from God

2. Beware our feet runs to these places of mischief
(a) TV/PC - Home
(b) Disco and lounge/night club – Social gathering
(c) Gambling areas (caSINo) – lust of the eyes
(c) Gambling areas (caSINo) – lust of the eyes
(d) Prostitution areas – lust of the flesh
3. What does the Bible tell our feet to do?
(a) Rom 10:15 “How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things.”
(b) Eph 6:15 “And your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace.”
4. Satan – His swift feet as a roaring lion to devour Christians (1 Pet 5:8)
(a) Satan will tempt us to sin to run to worldly pleasures
(b) Satan works very hard going everywhere to devour Christians
To do: Purpose in your heart as the Psalmist in Psalm 27:4 to resolve to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of our lives.
