Rev Willy Ng preached a very sobering message today, urging every Christian to ponder deeply on the question 'Will ye also go away?'

Things change so quickly, at the beginning of John 6, many followed Christ, but at the end of chapter, many left and followed no more. What about us? For what reasons are we following Christ? For what reasons do we go to church? Rev Willy Ng pointed out many followed Jesus for the wrong reasons, we too may be following Jesus and going to church for the wrong reasons. May we examine ourselves.

It is noted that those that left and those the stayed heard the same message from Jesus Christ. Today we may be attending the same church, doing the same things but yet some we turn away while some persevere on. We pray that we will answer this question like how Peter did, and not go away. Lets take time to reflect, and be firmly persuaded that Jesus is our Saviour, and the Lord of our lives.

2 Timothy 1:12 'For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.'
